ndrea is an emerging LPGA Tour star, and her first win at the Portland Classic 2022 was a event to remember. Lee has been successful at all levels. She won nine times during her time at Standford University during her collegiate period and then spent 17 weeks as the World's #1 Women's Amateur. She won the Mark H. McCormack medal in 2019, which was her highest-ranked female amateur in the final season. Later that year, she became a professional. Andrea Lee was born in Los Angeles on 15 August 1998. James taught her to play golf from the time she was five years old. As a young girl she started competing at tournaments. In just 4 years, she had won 50 Junior titles. She made the cut at the 2014 US Women's Open at Pinehurst No. The age was 15 and her father was her caddie. Lee was requested by sponsors to participate at the year 2015 ANA Inspiration LPGA Tour, but she did not make it to the cut. Lee competed for the USA as a Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup team as well as at the Women's World Amateur Team Championship. When she joined Stanford University in 2016 she became the top-rated player in its history during that period. In the next three years she took home nine individual championships. Lee was forced to leave Stanford University and turned pro in the year 2019. Her amateur playing career included 17 weeks as she was the World Amateur Golf Ranking leader. Lee won her the Mark H. McCormack award during the year 2019 following having been the top amateur. As an amateur, Lee achieved four holes in one round and one albatross. Lee had two top-10 finishes in her rookie campaign on the LPGA Tour. She placed 7th during the 2022 AIG Women's Open at Kingsbarns Golf Links. Lee was the first woman to win her debut LPGA Tour win in the 2022 Portland Classic. This victory was in memory of her grandpa who passed away Min. He called me champions, and believed in me. It was a privilege to have him as a grandfather. I knew that he'd be looking on. Lee has previously competed in the figure skating, soccer and Taekwondo. Lee also enjoys films, bowling as well as skiing.
